Discover the MUSEUM OF MOUNTAIN ANIMALS!
There are more than 30 species to discover in a unique museographic space freely accessible to skiers and pedestrians, winter and summer.
Discover the fauna and flora of the mountains in a tour designed and created in close collaboration with the Vanoise National Park and the Peisey-Vallandry area.
This museum offers a place for pedagogical encounters, discovery and awareness.
It is also a place of relaxation where it is possible to eat with local products.
The Mountain Animal Museum is an integral part of a virtuous global development project.
This is part of our sustainable development approach on the scale of the mountain domain with :
– photovoltaic panels installed on the roof of the Vallandry arrival point
– a heat recovery system to regulate the temperature of the Museum
– rainwater recovered and redistributed for the non-drinking water needs of the area.

THE ZIP LINE LES ARCS
The zip line, highlights an emblematic place in the history of Les Arcs, flying over the track that hosted the demonstration discipline of the Flying Kilometer during the Albertville Olympic Games in 1992. Pedestrians and skiers alike can share in the dizzying sensations, in duo or solo, winter or summer. This descent at 130 km/h pushes everyone’s limits… to experience a unique moment!
In this privileged area, particular attention is paid to the integration of the landscape and the environmental responsibility of the domain:
The Aiguille Rouge and Varet lift stations are covered by 100m2 of photovoltaic panels.
The use of sustainable and recyclable materials such as steel and wood is favoured.
As for the structure, large openings allow natural heating, reducing energy consumption.
And more generally, the mountain resort has been using 100% green electricity for several years now.

THE CARRELEY PANORAMA, an unmissable sight!
At the top of the Carreley chairlift, in the heart of the Col des Frettes, is a new panoramic balcony on the mountain.
This relaxation area at an altitude of 2,300m offers a 180° view of the surrounding peaks. The Mont Blanc, the Roignaix, the Roche de Mio and the Pierra Menta are all here.
If you are in the mood for contemplation, you can lie down for a break on one of the double deckchairs or take off as a couple on the new swing with a view of Mont Blanc.
This local creation is entirely designed by the valley’s craftsmen. It is the ideal place to go into slow ski mode, to take the time to contemplate the nature that surrounds you to recharge your batteries and oxygenate yourself!
As in all the places of contemplation in the mountain area, there is no waste here! Our animal friends are watching over you!
